This time guest instructor David Lamain will teach us how to play the Hey Joe solo. This one is filled with interesting phrasing and use of the pentatonic scale (Em pentatonic). Listen how closely David emulates Jimi Hendrix's patented vibrato and tone.

Gear used: Blade TE-3 guitar (neck pickup tone knob turned down a little bit for the intro and verse), Line6 Spider II amp - amp setting based on old Fender amp from the sixties.
