  Here is a classic tune from the band who invented heavy metal - Black Sabbath! Guitarist Tony Iommy is a very capable riffer - and this song should illustrate his simple but effective way of constructing riffs. Look out for the octave powerchords which require you to mute the D-string with left hand index finger.
