Here is a beautiful tune which revolves around variations of the intro riff. Stay consistent with the alternative picking (down - up - down - up etc.) , even if you might be tempted to do some downstrokes in a row.

Important note: On the original recording Kurt uses "droped D" tuning (high to low: E - B - G - D - A - D). This also means the video illustrations in this lesson don't sound exactly as on the album.
