If you are a complete beginner - and want to learn your first song - I suggest you start here!

Less is more, and this song rocks - even though "Everybody Hurts" only contains four chords - it was a smash hit for REM.

Make sure to practice the chord changes over and over - when they feel comfortable - start practicing the finger picking pattern. As always, make sure each right hand finger has it's assigned string. Eventually, you will be able to put it together and play seamlessly.
