Nuno Bettencourt solo continued (part 3)
->Go to part 1 2 ending

The next part could be described as "bendy" and "feely":

e|------------------------------------------12-13-15~--15-15br-13-12--13-15-12b-12--------|
b|-------12brb-12p10-12~-----------13-15-17---------------------------------------13\-----|
g|----10------------------12-14-16--------------------------------------------------------|
d|-12-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
a|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
e|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|---------------------------------------------------12-13-15-15b--13-\12--13-15-12b-12---|
b|-----13-15-15br-13-------------------15b--13-15-17------------------------------------13|
g|-/14---------------13-15-13h15p13\12----------------------------------------------------|
d|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
a|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
e|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Notice how Nuno builds up his phrases with scalar, "three-notes-per-string" runs, eventually landing on a strong, bend note. Take this idea and make your own:

e|------------------------------------------|
b|-------12brb-12p10-12~-----------13-15-17-|
g|----10------------------12-14-16----------|
d|-12---------------------------------------|
a|------------------------------------------|
e|------------------------------------------|

e|12-13-15~--15-15br-13-12--13-15-12b-12--------|
b|---------------------------------------13\----|
g|----------------------------------------------|
d|----------------------------------------------|
a|----------------------------------------------|
e|----------------------------------------------|

These kind of shorter phrases and bends , are the typical kind of licks to incorporate into your playing, as they are easier to "steal" than longer runs:

e|------------------------------------------|
b|-----13-15-15br-13-------------------15b--|
g|-/14---------------13-15-13h15p13\12------|
d|------------------------------------------|
a|------------------------------------------|
e|------------------------------------------|

Yet another three-note-per-string run followed by bends:

e|-----------12-13-15-15b--13-\12--13-15-12b-12---|
b|--13-15-17------------------------------------13|
g|------------------------------------------------|
d|------------------------------------------------|
a|------------------------------------------------|
e|------------------------------------------------|

e|------------------|
b|------------------|
g|-/14-14-14-14-14\-|
d|-/14-14-14-14-14\-|
a|-/12-12-12-12-12\-|
e|------------------|
